The Bear Creek Mountain House is nestled in the foothills above Denver,  just four miles over the mountain from the famous Red Rocks amphitheater. The drive along Bear Creek canyon is one of the most scenic in all of Colorado...  gorgeous at any time of year.

From this vacation home, guests can ride the ski train to local ski resorts, see a live show at Red Rocks amphitheater, shop and dine in the tiny town of Morrison or Evergreen, see famous Dinosaur Ridge, or venture further into the Rocky Mountains and the city of Denver. It's all right there. 

The house itself is a beautiful retreat, with incredible panoramic views of the surrounding canyon and mountains. You can listen to the splashing of Bear Creek, below, or watch the elk and mule deer that often hang out in the yard.

The Bear Creek Mountain House has two units to choose from: an upstairs cabin that we call "Treetop", and a downstairs "Patio" cabin. The Treetop Cabin and the Patio Cabin are located in the same mountain house, but are completely private from each other with no interior connection. Both cabins have wood burning stoves, DSL high speed Internet access and Comcast cable TV, as well as their own bath, kitchen, dining, living and office areas. There is a charcoal grill which can be used by both cabins. The units can be rented separately or together.
